Completing moves with the Quick Stow command

When you complete a move with the Quick Stow command, XPS immediately sends a message to the N4 system, updating it with the new position. The selected containers change their status from Planned to Current, and the Planned status icon no longer appears on large container icons and in container lists.

You cannot undo a completed container move. If you mistakenly complete a container move, you can plan the container back to its original position and then replan the move.

You must have Quick Stow privileges to use the following procedure. For details, contact your N4 administrator.

To use the Quick Stow command:

  1. In the XPS client, open a Work Queue window or a Current Containers window.

  1. From the Work Queue or the Current Containers window, select the container that you want to complete.

  2. From the Planning menu, select Quick Stow.

  3. In the Quick Stow dialog box, enter the new container position information, as follows:

  1. Click Stow.

XPS completes the move and updates the N4 system.
